Foods that are good for our skin

The choice of our skincare routine has an impact on the appearance of our skin, but not only! Food is also important. We are often told about the type of food that has a bad impact on our skin but rarely about the ones that have a good one! And the latter have a great influence on the health and appearance of our skin. Nutriments have their own unique benefits, from salmon to dark chocolate, and this can sometimes solve small skin problems or improve its appearance.

Let’s start with gourmet food!

Pomegranate, blueberries, raspberries, cranberries. These red fruits are recommended for a more supple and youthful skin because they help the body to naturally produce more collagen, the protein that prevents the appearance of wrinkles.

Dark chocolate can get added to the list. Already known for its properties against depression and bad mood, its antioxidant properties are also excellent for the skin. Moreover, chocolate is rich in polyphenols, which is enough to make anyone happy!

Papaya: Like chocolate, it helps protect our skin from the harmful effects of the sun, thanks to the vitamin C it contains. It also helps reduce acne and other skin infections and helps in cell renewal.

Artichoke! Surprising, you may ask? Well, it contains powerful antioxidants that detoxify our skin. As a result, this vegetable makes the skin not only brighter, but also healthier. The phytonutrients it contains are beneficial to skin and hair health, strengthening them and making them more radiant. Its effect also helps to fight dandruff!

Rich in vitamins C and E, the avocado alone has many benefits for our skin: it moisturizes it, makes it luminous and gives it vitality. A real anti-ageing agent, it also promotes the formation of collagen for a smoothing and rejuvenating effect. It can be eaten or applied directly to the skin as a mask.

Salmon is another rich food. Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are beneficial to the skin. These fatty acids hydrate your skin from the inside out and fight wrinkles and acne. This makes salmon perfect for dry or easily irritated skin. Note that omega-3 is also present in other fish as well as in seafood or sardines.

A little relaxation to finish with green tea! Green tea is known for its many properties. It contains a large number of antioxidants and combats skin ageing. It also helps to fight acne by reducing the presence of the hormone that promotes the appearance of pimples.

There you have it, now it’s up to you!
