Gianni Coppa’s advice to take deeply care of your hair

After the summer or during a change of season, our hair needs to regenerate. To bring shine and strength, we asked Gianni Coppa, expert and founder of the R’Factory hair salon, a few questions. So you can enjoy your beautiful hair 365 days a year!

What are the key elements to take care of our hair through the seasons?

Throughout the year and as the weather approaches, we nourish and moisturize our hair more. It is also the occasion to use mostly leave-in products that will leave a film that will protect the hair more. I recommend Evo’s Happy Campers, a nourishing and repairing thermal protective spray ideal for all hair types (it makes hair extremely shiny); and Olaplex’s Bond Smoother No. 6 Styling Cream, a leave-in that’s ideal for helping blow-drying or leaving hair natural. It eliminates and controls frizz and is very economical since it is easily spread with a brush.

What are the essential hair products to use during repeated exposure to the sun?

As for the skin, there are sun protections in the form of oil, spray to be applied before exposing to the sun. This is what will protect the hair but especially the color or the balayage. Monoi should be avoided before exposure to the sun, which contrary to what we think, does not protect at all!

My recommendations:

How to nourish and repair our hair deeply?

After the sea, the swimming pool or the beach, we make good nourishing shampoos hydrating, and we apply a mask hydrating/nourishing. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes to nourish and moisturize the hair. We finish with a dry oil or a spray without rinsing. For this, I recommend applying Olaplex N°3 Hair Perfector Pre-Treatment to boost hair. This one is applied to wet hair before shampooing. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse and apply shampoo N°4 and conditioner N°5 or mask N°8 according to your needs.

Thank you very much Gianni for all these advices!
