Hello Maxie ! From when did you became conscious that it was mandatory to take care of your skin?
I think that it arrived right after Covid. All our habits were shaken, our mental wellness were disturb too. It triggered inflammatory acne on me, in reaction to the stress, environment changes, change of habits etc.

What are your rituals to face stress and intense situations?
Firstly, relaxation exercices and breath work. If my schedule allows it, I take some wellness time for myself in a spa or I got in the countryside to see my family. And of course sports to release tensions. I do some regularly for a year and a half now, twice or three times a week.

Your favorite wellness place?
The « Appart beauté » salon, it the 9th district. She does miracles on my skin!

What are your skincare and makeup essentials?
I do layering. So I’d say that out of serums and all, a great face cream is mandatory for a plumped skin. And never forget your sunscreen for your last skincare step! When my skin is feeling great, I don’t wear foundation, I hide my imperfections with a bit of concealer, and I add some mascara for a nice look. And of course a maximal lips hydratation.

Do you have a beauty products following you every time?
The lip balm from Glossier. I have it in almost all the scents. I also love the BYREDO mascara.

And to finish, do you have a wellness or beauty secret to share with us?
If you want to keep your skin glowy and deeply moisturized all year long, I would recommend to do a hydrafacial face care 3 to 4 times a year (every time the seasons change). You will quit make up after that!
